Q. - What causes streaks?
A. - Streaking can be caused by a number of things. The most common things are, have you used wax or polish on the vehicle? The build up of waxes or polish products can cause a thicker layer to form on the vehicle allowing the black streaks to eat into it. Cleaners by design will start to cut through the layers which may cause streaks to form. The streaks are the clean bits. The use of a 10:1 solution of Caravan cleaner will help speed up the cleaning process.
Q. - Why do you say "start at the bottom" when cleaning?
A. - To get the best out of the cleaner it is important to keep the area wet and to ensure even coverage. Starting at the bottom and working up helps to achieve this and reduces streaking.
Q. - Where else can the cleaner be used?
A. - Our loyal customers and fans keep telling us of other uses for the cleaner. Here is their list

Q. - Will the cleaner clean acrylic windows?
A. - Yes. A spray or hose pipe should be used to rinse off dirt, as It is important to make sure that the window is free from dirt and grit before attempting to wipe with a cloth or sponge. Take a look at our video section there is a video on there showing you how to clean windows, without scratching them.

Q. - Do I need to wear gloves while using the cleaner?
A. - Not normally. Unless you suffer with any skin conditions there should be no need for gloves.
Q. - Why are there grey blotches on the hatches?
A. - The problem is caused by what appears to be a virus, this consists of grey blotches around the hatch which cannot be removed. It only seems to attack the hatches with the rough finish e.g. toilet door and battery hatch, it may be just a result of poor materials and exposure to ultra violet light. Hatches can be best cleaned by using a toothbrush. Dip the toothbrush into the bottle of cleaner (or make up a 10:1 solution in a spray bottle), work it into the hatch. Allow to stand for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, run the toothbrush over the area once again (no need to add more cleaner), then rinse off. This will remove any dirt, grime, green etc.
Q. - Can I use the cleaner in a pressure washer?
A. - Yes. We wouldn't recommend it though as a power washer can harm mastic and rubber seals, which will cause leaks and damage in the long term. The dilution needs to be about 200:1 at the lance end, give the cleaner a bit of time to work before washing off. If you have a soap dispenser, add about 2-4 caps full to the dispenser and fill with water, this should be about right. You can add more cleaner if required. The Motorhome Cleaner is better suited to pressure washers as it is faster acting, but good results should be obtained using the Caravan Cleaner as long as sufficient contact time is allowed (30sec to 1 min).
Q. - Can I use Bobby Dazzler on my car?
A. - Yes. Bobby Dazzler is ideal for cars, as it enhances the shine and provides protection from the rain, spray, salt etc. Unlike the caravan / motorhome the dilution should be about 1 cap to around 2-3 gallons (9-13 litres).
Q. - Why do I get white deposits after using Bobby Dazzler?
A. - Bobby Dazzler is very concentrated and goes a very long way. If too much Bobby Dazzler is used white deposits may be noticed on the vehicle when dry. Rinsing with clean water or next time it rains will remove these deposits. When you rinse off use less Bobby Dazzler, to avoid leaving deposits. Do you live in a hard water area? as this will also cause streaks.
Q. - How do I know if Bobby Dazzler is working?
A. - While rinsing off with Bobby Dazzler in your rinse water, you will see dry areas appearing as the water is chased off, this is usually more noticeable on the windows and flat surfaces. Road spray will tend to form small droplets on the vehicle and rain water will bead and run off, also the shine will be enhanced.
Q. - I run a motorhome with a 20 litre tank, what is the best way to use Waste Pipe & Tank Cleaner?
A. - Add 300ml of Waste Pipe & Tank Cleaner to 15 litres of warm water, add this to your waste water tank, drive around with it in your the tank, as this will make the solution slosh around the tank and cover all the surfaces, leave in tank for a couple of hours or longer. Could be worth preparing it before you travel on your adventure :-)
