To keep black streaks away for 3-6 months, dip a soft bristled tooth brush is some Fenwicks Black Streak Remover and gently scrub the rubber seals around windows, hatches and gutters, being careful not to scratch the windows, this will create a lot of black run off, dont worry it is only the oxidised rubber that creates black streaks, repeat process until the run off is clear. Happy days !
Q. - What causes streaks? A. - Streaking can be caused by a number of things. The most common thing is, have you used wax or polish on the vehicle? The build up of these products can cause a thicker layer to form on the vehicle allowing the black streaks to eat into it. Once the cleaner starts to cut through the layers streaks can form. The streaks are the clean bits and the use of a 10:1 solution of cleaner will help speed up the cleaning process.
