Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner is specifically formulated for the cleaning of caravans. It is NOT a re-badged traffic film remover, like so many other cleaners on the market. We have spent many years testing and perfecting the cleaner. There is no other cleaner that is safer to use, or that is as economical in use. The raw materials used for the manufacture of the cleaner are also the most biodegradable in their class regardless of cost.
Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner cleans in a unique way (when it comes to caravan cleaners).
Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner attracts dirt a bit like a magnet, it then surrounds the dirt and stops it from sticking.
Most other cleaners use aggressive agents e.g. sodium hydroxide (caustic), metasilicates, acids, abrasives, or solvents, which is why they have hazard warning marks on their bottles.
Cleaning with these products initially can look quite effective as a cleaner but problems occur with the degradation of the finish, the gloss finish fades, sealants and mastics dry and crack, in some cases windows become damaged (solvent based cleaners), aluminium becomes discoloured and streaked (alkali cleaners are very good at this). Why spend so much money on a caravan and then damage it? Instead use Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner knowing we have over 25 years of cleaning knowledge using the finest and safest ingredients that will not harm your pride and joy.
Step 1: Pour 2 capfuls of Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner Concentrate into 5 litres of warm or cold clean water.
Step 2: Apply to surfaces from bottom to top using a spray, sponge or brush.
Step 3: Allow 1 to 2 mins to soak in, but do not allow to dry.
Step 4: Agitate with a sponge or soft brush.
Step 5: Rinse thoroughly with water from top to bottom, or for that showroom finish just add Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler to the rinse water.
Handy hints
1) A 1 to 10 solution will remove stubborn marks and black streaks.
2) Rinsing with Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler protects and makes cleaning easier.
Q. - What causes streaks?
A. - Streaking can be caused by a number of things. The most common things are, have you used wax or polish on the vehicle? The build up of waxes or polish products can cause a thicker layer to form on the vehicle allowing the black streaks to eat into it. Cleaners by design will start to cut through the layers which may cause streaks to form. The streaks are the clean bits. The use of a 10:1 solution of Caravan cleaner will help speed up the cleaning process.
Q. - Why do you say "start at the bottom" when cleaning?
A. - To get the best out of the cleaner it is important to keep the area wet and to ensure even coverage. Starting at the bottom and working up helps to achieve this and reduces streaking.
Q. - Where else can the cleaner be used?
A. - Our loyal customers and fans keep telling us of other uses for the cleaner. Here is their list
- UPVC double glazing
- Patio furniture
- Conservatories
- Greenhouses
- Barbecues
- Stains in clothes and carpets (as long as they are colour fast)
- A 1\4 thimble full in the average car windscreen washer bottle to keep the windscreen clear (note-does not contain antifreeze)
If you can think on more let us know and we'll add them to the list :-)
